Big news: Legendary cricketer dies at 49 after battling cancer

New Delhi. Former Zimbabwe captain and veteran cricketer Heath Streak has passed away at the age of 49. He was suffering from cancer for some time. He has been the coach of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. He last played an international match in the year 2005. Heath Streak was undergoing treatment in South Africa. Many players, including long-time fast bowler Henry Olanga, current team captain Sean Williams, Indian cricketer R Ashwin, took to social media to mourn the death of the player.

Henry Olanga wrote that the sad news is coming that Heath Streak is no more. He was our great all-rounder. It was a pleasure playing with you. At the same time, Sean Williams wrote that I have no words. I cannot explain what you and your family have done for me and so many others. Our hearts are broken.
