Bihar STET 2023: Admit card for Bihar STET exam will be issued today. Candidates can download it by visiting bsebstet.com. The Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2023 will be conducted in two shifts from September 4 to September 15, 2023. First shift exam will be conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm and second shift exam from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Reporting time for morning shift will be 8.30 am, doors will close at 9.30 am. While the reporting time for afternoon shift is 1.30 pm, gate closing time is 2.30 pm. The examination will be computer based, in which case the board has provided practice facility to the candidates. A URL will be provided on the admit card, by visiting which candidates can practice CBT from today, August 30.
Bring the uploaded photograph along with the passport size color photograph along with the application pasted on the original admit card at the designated location. It has to be deposited in the speculum in the examination hall. The photocopy of the original admit card will be retained by the candidate.
Without affixing the photo on the admit card and valid photo ID, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Shoes, socks and watches are not allowed in the examination.
In Photo ID, candidates can bring their Election ID Card or Aadhaar Card or PAN Card or Bank Pass Book with Photo or Passport or Driving License or Ration Card photo and original copy of any one of them. It is mandatory to bring it. After verification, the photocopy will be kept at the examination center. Original copy will be returned.
– Candidates shall not apply nail polish, mehndi, ink, color on their hands so that there is no problem in biometric attendance.
Three and a half million applications
Three and a half lakh candidates have applied in STET 2023. This will be the first time that Bihar Board will conduct STET of 46 subjects simultaneously. It has 17 topics in paper-1 and 29 topics in paper-2. Talking about the year 2020, almost two lakh candidates appeared for STET 2020. Examination was conducted for 10 subjects. This time Bihar board has included all the subjects of secondary and higher secondary. The examination center will be conducted at the district headquarters itself. The exam will have questions of 150 marks. All will be purposeful types.
More applications in 9th-10th
The highest number of applications for STET came for class 9 and 10. More than two lakh applications have come for ninth and tenth i.e. paper-1.
Choose a topic
Candidates appearing for Paper-A Special School Teacher must choose any one subject for general subject group. It may include Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts and Dance subjects. Any one subject will be selected from all these subjects, candidates who have not done it are being given an opportunity to revise from August 29 to 31.
