Bihar STET: Bihar School Examination Board has released an important notification regarding STET last date, exam fee payment last dates and correction of mistakes in application form. The Bihar Board has stated in the notice that the registration for STET 2023 along with payment of examination fee can be done till 12:00 midnight on August 24, 2023. STET exam application form filling, certificates uploading and correction of errors can be done till 6 PM on August 25, 2023. The notice said that the candidates who have submitted the online examination application should re-check the filled applications. If you find any mistake, correct it by August 25 at 6 pm.
Bihar STET Paper-1 under Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, Dance and Special School Teacher and Paper-2 under Hindi , Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Bengali, Maithili, Maghi, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science will be. There should be an exam for teachers of Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture and Music subjects.
Exam Pattern
Questions in Bihar STET exam will be multiple choice. One mark will be awarded for each question. There will be no negative marking. The pattern of the paper will be of graduation level applicable in state universities. Paper-1 and Paper-2 will have 100 questions from specified subject and 50 marks will be from Teacher Arts, Other Skills. That means there will be total 150 questions. The duration of the exam to be conducted in CBT mode will be two and a half hours.
Passing marks
General – 50%
Backward Classes – 45.5 percent
Extremely Backward Classes – 42.5 percent
SC, ST – 40 percent
Handicapped – 40 percent
Women – 40 percent

Keep these rules regarding photo and signature in mind while applying
– The scanned size of the photograph of the candidate should be between 20 kb to 50 kb and the size should be 3.5 cm * 4.5 cm. Scanned size of signature should be between 10 kb to 30 kb.
Color photograph should be recent. Background should be white or light colored. The front of the camera should be drawn. Photo should not have dark glasses or cap.
Application Fee:
– Male and female candidates belonging to General/Economically Weaker General Category/Backward Classes/Extremely Backward Classes shall pay the application fee as under.
– For Paper-1 or Paper-2 only – Rs.960.
For both Paper-1 and Paper-2 – Rs. 1440.
SC/ST and PwD category male and female candidates have to pay the following fees.
– For Paper-1 or Paper-2 only – Rs. 760.
For both Paper-1 and Paper-2 – Rs.1140.
