Bihar Teacher: Students (trainees) of State Government teacher training institutes will teach in primary schools (classes one to eight). Also students of secondary and higher secondary schools will go to these institutes and get education using computer, science etc. laboratories. To ensure this, the Education Department has issued instructions to all District Education Officers and Principals of Institutions.

Director (Administration) of the department, Subodh Kumar Chaudhary, in a letter sent to the districts, said that on August 24, additional chief secretary of the department, KK Pathak, inspected the Teacher Training Institute (DIET) of Nalanda district. In the meantime he saw that good and useful equipments like chairs, tables, desks etc. were kept in the institute, which were not being used. On the other hand, lack of equipment is seen in schools. Therefore, it is also directed that such institutions should send equipment to nearby schools. The department has also directed that principals of the institutes along with the district education officer will be present during the video conferencing review at the headquarters level on Saturday. Also, instructions have been given to auction unused equipment in these institutions.
