BPSC TRE-DV: Education department is now in dispute with BPSC. Director of Higher Secondary Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava wrote a letter to the BPSC on Tuesday, objecting to the deployment of teachers and education department officials to check the certificates of teacher candidates. In response to which BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad reacted strongly by tweeting on Friday. Also a reply letter was sent by the Secretary of the Commission. The education department has also been instructed not to interfere in the work of the commission. BPSC has termed the education department’s arrogance by writing the letter. Not only this, he also warned not to do such violence in future. However, no response has been given from the education department on this letter of BPSC at present.

Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan has said in a letter to the Education Department that verification of teacher candidates’ certificates is already being done as per the existing system. This happens at two levels. One BPSAC conducts the examination at its own level and the other is conducted by the recruitment department, which is conducted at the time of placement of successful candidates. Without a verification function at its level, neither a recommendation nor a dossier can be sent by the Commission. The state government is cooperating in the verification process and it is up to the state government to depute which officers and employees of which department for this. Any objection or request in this regard has to be made to the State Government.

The Commission is not under the control of Education Department or Govt.
The Commission has clarified that the work of verification is an internal matter of BPSAC. The Bihar Public Service Commission is not under the control of the Education Department or the State Government. The secretary of the commission advising the education department said that if this is not clear then the constitution should be studied for this. It is unconstitutional, improper and impermissible to question the propriety of the Commission’s internal process or attempt to interfere or coerce it in any way. The BPSC secretary has expressed surprise that despite knowing all these provisions, the department is expecting appointment recommendations from the commission without verifying the certificates.

A powerful tweet from the Commission Chairman
Commission Chairman Atul Prasad tweeted on Friday that the government appoints its officers and later transfers them. This does not concern us in any way. Targeting Education Department Additional Chief Secretary KK Pathak, without naming him, he further wrote, ‘But talk about those elements who are trying to cancel TRE-DV (Teacher Recruitment Test – Document Verification), they should try harder. should do

Letter from Education Department
On Tuesday, Director of Secondary Education Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava sent a letter to the secretary of the BPSC, requesting the officials, employees and teachers of the education department to be detached from the work of certificate verification of teacher candidates. In this regard, it was stated that the deputation is not acceptable under any circumstances nor is it in the interest of education. They should be released from this job without any delay. After which, on Wednesday, the Chief Secretary sent a letter to all the DMs asking them to separate the officials and teachers of the Education Department from the work of verification.
