Baahubali starrer Prabhas played the role of Raghav i.e. Lord Rama in this film. At the same time, Kriti Sanon was seen in the role of Janaki. Sunny Singh was seen in the role of Laxman in this film. The film was mired in controversies even before its release. First the poster of the film’s character Ravana was released. People also expressed their displeasure over this poster. The film turned out to be a big setback for the Adipurush producers. The characters of the story of this film based on Ramayana are also taken from Ramayana. Which was held in front of people in Hollywood style. But these characters, figures of ideals, could not influence people in a new way. The film was met with protests and people even demanded its ban. Although the film was not banned, it flopped badly. Along with this, the film’s director Om Raut has apologized for hurting people’s sentiments. Along with this, writer Manoj Shukla also accepted his mistake in this regard. However, the film was badly beaten after many controversies and has been included in the list of all-time disasters of Bollywood.
