BPSC TRE BEd vs DElEd Pass: Bihar Public Service Commission has given a shock to the B.Ed pass candidates who are on the way to become primary teachers through Teacher Recruitment Competitive Exam 2023 with the decision of the Supreme Court. In which DLED or BTC or BSTC pass candidates are enjoying. Recently, in the Rajasthan Teacher Recruitment case, the Supreme Court has ordered that B.Ed pass will not be considered as a qualification for primary teacher recruitment. Since then, a cloud of apprehension was hovering over the aspirants of BPSC Teacher Recruitment. But now the Supreme Court has asked the Bihar government to accept the present decision, it is clear that primary teachers with B.Ed will not be eligible for recruitment.
Further Selection Possibilities of Candidates with D.El.Ed:
BPSC has organized the examination for the recruitment of 1.70 lakh posts of teachers in primary, upper primary, middle and higher secondary schools of the state. Talking about the post of primary teacher, their number is 79943. The special thing is that most of the candidates who applied for the primary post were BEd pass candidates. After the Supreme Court’s order, the exit of these candidates will ease the way for DLED people to become teachers. Along with this, the cutoff may also be lowered, due to which most of the DLED candidates will easily become primary teachers.
Let us inform you that 57616 posts of Higher Secondary (Class 11, 12), 5425 posts of Secondary (Class 09, 10), 79943 posts of Primary Teacher and 32916 posts of Upper Primary Teacher will be appointed. The BPSC Teacher Recruitment Competitive Exam 2023 was conducted on 24, 25 and 26 August 2023 at various examination centers across the state. Document verification of secondary and higher secondary candidates has also started from September 4.
The Supreme Court order came before the BPSC exam, on which the BPSC chairman had already clarified that the qualification of the candidates and the organization of the exam are two separate things. He indicated that the SC order may affect applicants for the post of primary teachers, but the teacher recruitment process will continue.
