BPSC Shikshak bharti bihar: Supreme Court decision regarding BEd, BTC awarded in August will now be valid in Bihar BPSC teacher recruitment as well. There is no B.Ed for Primary (Basic) Teachers, only D.El.Ed degree holders (DElEd / BTC / BSTC) will be eligible. B.Ed candidates of Bihar have suffered a big blow after this Supreme Court decision. In this regard, the Supreme Court has asked the Government of Bihar to comply with its order dated 11.8.23 (BEd not eligible in PRT). The meaning is now clear BPSC Holders of B.Ed qualification can no longer become teachers for PRT i.e. Teacher Recruitment Primary (Basic). This will benefit candidates with D.El.Ed and candidates with B.Ed will now be thrown out.

Recruitment of teachers for 1 lakh 70 thousand posts is going on in Bihar. In which there are three lakh 80 thousand candidates who are B.Ed and have given the exam. It may be noted that primary teachers are being appointed to 79 thousand 943 posts by BPSC. Let us tell you that currently the verification of 4th papers has started across the state under BPSC teacher recruitment.

Earlier, the BPSC chairman had also hinted that the decision given by the Supreme Court could have an impact on the eligibility of primary teachers. He said that holding the teacher recruitment exam on time and disqualifying some candidates are two different things. The Supreme Court’s decision last week will not affect the recruitment of teachers but disqualification of candidates cannot be said to be unaffected. He advised the candidates that candidates should be realistic in estimating their best interests.
