There is a bullish atmosphere in the stock markets today. At 11.42 minutes, the Sensex was trading up 118 points at 65,551, while the Nifty was trading at 19,481, up 34 points.

Earlier, major stock indices Sensex and Nifty rose during early trade on Thursday amid a strong trend in global markets. BSE’s 30-share flagship index Sensex rose 333.95 points to 65,767.25 during the period. The NSE Nifty rose 101.65 points to 19,545.65. Tech Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, Power Grid, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, JSW Steel, Wipro, Titan and Ultratech Cement were gainers on the Sensex. On the other hand, shares of Jio Financial Services saw a decline.
In other Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi, Japan’s Nikkei, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng and China’s Shanghai Composite were profitable. American markets closed on a positive note on Wednesday. Global oil benchmark Brent crude was down 0.31 percent at US $82.95 a barrel.
