India got a big win on Wednesday. India’s Chandrayaan-3 has successfully landed on the lunar surface. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully landed on the South Pole of the Moon. India has become the first country in the world to successfully land on the South Pole. The countrymen are very happy on this historic achievement of India. Significantly, Chandrayaan-3 landed on the lunar surface at 6.4 pm Indian time. This success is also significant because recently Russia’s ‘Luna 25’ suffered an accident in its attempt to land on the moon. Expressing happiness, ISRO chief S Somnath said, “We have succeeded in ‘soft landing’ on the moon.” India is on the moon.
