Nationwide celebration of Chandrayaan-3’s successful landing
The success of this historic mission of India was celebrated throughout the country. As soon as people saw the successful landing of Chandrayaan on television in the evening, a wave of happiness rushed through them. Creating a new history in space, ISRO successfully soft-landed ‘LM’ carrying lander ‘Vikram’ and rover ‘Pragyan’ on the South Pole of the Moon on Wednesday. According to Indian time, it touched the lunar surface at around 6:04 pm. Leaders from around the world also congratulated PM Modi on the success of India’s moon mission.
The lander sent the first pictures of the moon
The Vikram lander sent under the Chandrayaan 3 mission has created history by successfully landing on the lunar surface. The Indian space agency ISRO has released the first image after the landing of the Vikram lander on the moon. Lander Vikram took several pictures of the lunar surface during power descent. The images show part of the landing site, the lander’s metal leg and its shadow.
