Read on the application
A film is going to be made on Chandrayaan 3. Who will make the film? When will it be made? This has not been announced yet. However, with the success of ‘Chandrayaan 3’, the directors have started competing. On the one hand, some producers are busy registering their film names. On the other hand, director Jagan Shakti who made ‘Mission Mangal’ has announced to make a film on ‘Chandrayaan 3’.
Announcement of Jagan Shakti
Jagan Shakti, the director of Akshay Kumar’s film, has informed in an interview to Dainik Bhaskar that he will make a film on ‘Chandrayaan 3’ with the team of Mission Mangal. However, it is not yet confirmed whether Akshay Kumar will be in the film or not. Jagan Shakti only said that he would not let this opportunity go. He said, ‘Right now I am thinking about the story of the film. I will take input from my elder sister before deciding the story. He is a senior scientist at ISRO. I hope to make a film on ‘Chandrayaan-3’ with the team of ‘Mission Mangal’.
Producers compete to make films
At the same time, a News 18 report is claiming that apart from Jagan Shakti, many other filmmakers and production houses are also in the race to make a film on the Chandra mission. Various producers and production houses have applied to the Mumbai office of Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), Producers Guild of India and Indian Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC) to register the film name. However, only some of these producers will be allowed to make a film on it.
When will the decision come?
In an interview to the media, an IMPAA official said, “Next week we will review all these applications and then give permission to some producers to make films. This permission will be given to those who we find genuine.”
