More About CMB College
Chandramukhi Bhola mahavidyalaya was set up in the year 1968 when the luminaries and the education-loving people of this locality took solemon pledge to establish a higher educational institution here at Ghoghardiha, a distant place surrounded by the river koshi-balan. There is no denying the fact that late sri Bhola Singh of village, Deorh was the chief source of inspiration to carry this gigantic task into effect.
The other important donor of this institution was Sri Narendra Mohan Saraswati, Who displayed his generosity to put forward the name of his Grand Mother as the second doner. In addition, Dr. Jagannath Mishra also provided economic assistance from time to time to sustain, the existence of this college.
The last but not the least, the true and sincere guidance by Sri Baidnath jha, the secretary of this college helped this institution to flourish by leaps and bounds. Also the sacrifice done by some founder teachers of this institution is worth praise who offered their first remunerations for purchasing a piece of land on which this institutions was erected.
The college obtained affiliation in inter arts, Science and Commerce in the year 1968. The degree affiliation in arts was given by the govt, in the year 1975. At present, this college is a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University.
