CSBC Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023: The Patna High Court dismissed a petition challenging the recruitment process of constables in Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police. A division bench of Chief Justice K Vinod Chandran and Justice Partha Sarathi dismissed the plea on Thursday, saying there was no irregularity in the conditions for determining eligibility for resettlement, fixing the cutoff date and fixing the age limit.
The court said it was to decide on the terms desired for reinstatement of the competent appointing authority. The court clarified that the appointing authority would be in a better position to determine the conditions. In the advertisement released on August 1 last year, the eligibility condition and age limit were challenged. It was argued that the cutoff date for the age limit does not include candidates who have completed their intermediate course during the academic year 2022-23. He said the conditions set for resettlement hindered public employment. The court accepted all the arguments of the petitioner and dismissed the petition.
