CTET Exam 20 August 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) at 3121 examination centers in 136 cities across the country. For this, 3121 Central Superintendents, 3506 Inspectors and 599 CBSE Officers/Employees were deployed. According to the information, this time around 80 percent candidates appeared for the exam.
Explain that there are two question papers in CTET. Paper-1 is for Teacher Eligibility for Class 1 to 5, while Paper-2 is to ensure Teacher Eligibility for Class 6 to 8. Candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications can appear in one or both papers and can choose any two languages out of the 20 prescribed languages. This year also, for the convenience of CTET candidates, the board has arranged to provide digital marksheets and eligibility certificates through DigiLocker. Digilocker account of all appeared candidates will be created and account credentials will be notified to candidates on their mobile number registered with CBSE. A total of 15,01,719 candidates were registered for Paper-1 and a total of 14,02,184 candidates were registered for Paper-2 of the CTET exam.
