An incident that shames humanity has come to light from Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. Here, on the complaint of sexual harassment of the daughter, the mother was stripped naked. A Dalit person was allegedly beaten up there. A Dalit man was allegedly beaten up by a mob of hundreds of people in Sagar district in connection with a sexual harassment case filed by his sister in 2019, police said. His sister was also beaten and his mother was stripped naked when she tried to save her son from the attackers.

Police said a case has been registered against nine main accused in the case and three of them have been charged with murder and the stringent SC/ST Act. Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjiv Uike said eight people have been arrested. The 18-year-old victim’s sister alleged that some people were pressurizing her to settle the 2019 case and that led to the assault.
