Grandmaster Rameshbabu Pragyanandha of India has faced defeat in the final of Chess World Cup 2023. Despite this defeat, he made history. At the same time, world number one chess player Magnus Carlsen got the chance to win the title for the first time. 18-year-old Pragyananda will get 80 thousand US dollars (roughly Rs. 66 lakh) as a prize, as he was the runner-up in the competition. At the same time, Magnus Carlsen, who won the title, is going to get 110 thousand US dollars (about 91 lakh rupees).
