Pakistan fast bowler wreaks havoc in CPL 2023
The Pakistani pacer has taken three wickets in a single over

New Delhi. A bowler from Pakistan is wreaking havoc in the Caribbean Premier League. This fast bowler’s action matches that of former Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga to a great extent. This is why this bowler is also called ‘Pakistani Malinga’. The name of this bowler is Salman Irshad. Salman is currently playing for Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League and he bowled brilliantly in the match against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, guiding three batsmen to the pavilion in a single over. This also includes Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s old partner in IPL team Chennai Super Kings, Ambati Rayudu.

Ambati Rayudu’s account was also not opened due to Irshad’s devastating bowling. In this match, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots batted first and scored 156 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. The team had a bad start. Salman Irshad decimated the St Kitts top order with his devastating bowling. Salman came to bowl the fifth over of St. Kitts’ innings. In which he took 3 wickets. In this over, Salman made Andre Fletcher, Corbin Bosh and then Ambati Rayudu his prey.

Salman had Fletcher caught out by the wicketkeeper on the first ball of his over. Irshad’s next ball had extra bounce and Bosh was caught at point while playing the shot. Ambati Rayudu’s last wicket fell in the over. Coming out of the crease, Ambati took the catch at third man in the process of hitting the shot. He could not even open an account. Apart from this, Irshad also got the wicket of Joshua D’Silva. Salman took 4 wickets for 27 runs in his 4 overs. Jamaica got the target of 157 runs in 16.3 overs. Brandon King played an innings of 67 runs for his team.

The famous Krishna Jasprit Bumrah owes a huge debt! The pacer said how the captain helped in the comeback?

Salman Irshad, known as Malinga of Pakistan, took 15 wickets for Peshawar Jalmi in Pakistan Super League 2022.
