The hero of this historic win for UAE was 17-year-old left-arm spinner Ayan Afzal Khan. He took 3 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs. This is Ayan’s best performance in T20. Due to his performance, the New Zealand team could score only 142 runs in 20 overs. After this the UAE batsmen easily achieved this target.
