Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Dream Girl 2 is releasing on Friday i.e. August 25. The audience is very excited about this film. This film is the sequel of Dream Girl. In the first part where Nusrat Bharucha was in the lead role along with Ayushmann, Ananya Pandey has replaced Nusrat in the second part. A few days ago, Nusrat also expressed his regret over not being a part of the film and now Ayushmann has spoken on it.
Ayushmann spoke on Nusrat
When Ayushmann was asked about the age gap with his co-star Ananya, he first said, ‘The age gap is even bigger between actors who are older than me’. While replacing Nusrat, Ayushmann said, ‘This is an organic sequel to Dreamgirl. We needed a completely different cast for the film. I think Ananya’s presence has added value to the film. The way he uses Mathura accent in the film is funny. Enjoyed working with him and would like to work with him again in the future.
Nervous about the box office
Ayushmann’s earlier releases like An Action Hero and Doctor G did not do anything special. So is this why he is not doing his own film? Dream Girl 2 If you’re nervous about it, the actor said, it’s good to be nervous. Looks like my 10th board result will come. But I am also excited. Dream Girl 2 is a theatrical film with a large audience. This is a family entertainment film.
Ananya helped?
Ayushmann was asked if Ananya helped him perfect the female character. So he said, we used to do a lot of acting during the scene, but Ananya didn’t give me any tips to be Pooja because Pooja’s character is very different and Ananya’s character is very classy in the film.
