Mumbai. Sushma Anand, brother of famous actor Dev Anand and wife of filmmaker Vijay Anand, passed away on Sunday. According to the information, she was ill for a long time. According to information, Sushma’s last rites will be performed today at 11 am and before that her mortal body will be kept for last darshan. The news of his demise has sent shockwaves through the industry.
Sushma was ill for a long time and it is being said that the cause of her death was a heart attack. According to her manager, she suddenly collapsed on the ground, after which the family doctor was called and he declared her brought dead. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared cardiac arrest as the cause of death. Sushma’s last rites will be performed on Monday. Sushma breathed her last 19 years after Vijay’s death. Vijay Anand was also known as Goldie Anand and gave films like ‘Guide’, ‘Third Floor’, ‘Jewel Thief’. Vijay passed away in the year 2004.

Sushma was also much younger than Vijay in age. It is said that both got married in 1978 during the shooting of the film ‘Ram Balaram’.
