The team’s star batsman and captain Kane Williamson is almost recovered from injury and is set to make the World Cup 2023 squad. The 33-year-old Kiwi captain suffered the injury while fielding during the IPL. After which he had to go through a long treatment process. During this time he also lost many important series.
