Kolkata:

West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose on Thursday invited Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the “guest of honour” for any protest inside the Raj Bhavan. The “proposal” came at a time when Banerjee had threatened to stage a dharna outside the Raj Bhavan to protest against “blocking” the bills passed by the state assembly. Speaking to reporters at the airport here, the governor said, “I will request the honorable constitutional colleague, the honorable chief minister to come inside the Raj Bhavan and protest if he wishes.” Why should he stay out?
