G20 Summit: US President Joe Biden arrives in Delhi, will hold bilateral talks with PM Modi

This is the first visit of US President Joe Biden to India.

US President Joe Biden has arrived in India to attend the G20 Summit to be held in India. This is Biden’s first visit to India (US President Joe Biden India Visit). They will stay in India for 3 days. The US President was received at the airport by Union Minister General VK Singh. Biden then met US Ambassador Eric Garcetti and his daughter. Biden is the 8th US President to visit India. The special thing is that in the first 50 years of India’s independence, only 3 American presidents visited India. At the same time, this is the sixth visit of the American President in the last 23 years.

America’s NSA Jack Sullivan said that the two countries will also discuss increasing cooperation in civil nuclear technology. Apart from this, a small modular nuclear reactor can also be agreed upon. Talks on the GE jet engine deal between the two countries may also move forward.

According to a statement issued by the White House, the two leaders will discuss the Russia-Ukraine war. During this discussion will be held on reducing the impact of war on economic and social level. Modi-Biden will also talk about strengthening the capacity of the World Bank and other multilateral development banks to fight poverty and many other global challenges.

September 9 schedule for the G20 summit

9:30 am- Guests will assemble at Bharat Mandapam. There will be welcome photography with PM Modi. Meet in the Leaders Lounge.

10:30 am- The first session on One Earth will be held in the Summit Hall. This is followed by lunch.

1:30 PM- There will be a bilateral meeting of guests.

3:00 PM- Another session on One Family in Summit Hall. Guests will return to the hotel.
7:00 PM- There will be dinner. Before that there will be a reception photography.
8:00 hrs- Discussion during dinner.
9:10 p.m.- Guests will assemble at the Leaders Lounge and will return to the hotel from here.

September 10 Schedule for the G20 Summit
8:15 am- Arrival of guests at Rajghat. Leaders built here will sign the Peace Wall in the lounge.
9:00 am- Guests will pay tribute at Mahatma Gandhi’s mausoleum. Devotional songs will be organized after this.
9:20 am- Guests will reach Bharat Mandapam.
10:15 am- Tree plantation program will be held in South Plaza.
10:30 am- The third session on One Future will be held at the Summit Hall. After this the New Delhi Manifesto will be announced. The Summit will conclude and the Chairmanship will be transferred.
12:30 p.m.- Bilateral meetings will take place and guests will return.
