Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday alleged that due to disclosure of purchase price of apples by the Adani group in Himachal Pradesh, boxes of apples are being sold at one-third less than before, causing trouble to the flies. He also asked why Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not doing anything to stop this ‘robbery’?
He tweeted, “In this difficult time of calamity, where a mountain of trouble was already falling on the farmers of Himachal Pradesh, why is Prime Minister’s friend Adani adding to their woes?” According to Adani, after issuing the purchase price of apples. The boxes are selling for one-third less than before.
He said, “It is a shame to do this at a time of disaster. Where the farmers and horticulturists of Himachal Pradesh need help, they are being vandalized. The Congress leader asked why the Prime Minister is not doing anything to stop this looting. Adani Group has not yet given any reaction in this matter.
