According to exit polls, his Party for Freedom (PVV) party is claiming the most seats in the Dutch parliamentary elections. Wilders has been in the news several times for his harsh criticism of Islam and harsh immigration policy. Wilders has said many times that he wants to ban mosques and the Koran in the Netherlands. In the exit polls, the PVV is winning a maximum of 35 seats out of 150, beating all parties. Last time his party got only 17 seats.
