7th Pay Commission: Central employees are waiting for the DA in the second half of the year. Earlier, the central government has changed the rules related to the promotion of defense ministry employees. According to the information, the minimum qualification service standards required for promotion of defense civil servants of the Ministry have been upgraded.
These revised norms will be applicable to those defense civil servants who follow the pay matrix and pay scales of the 7th Pay Commission. At the same time, the salaries of such employees are being paid from the Defense Services Estimates. Recently Ministry of Defense has given information about eligibility for promotion in a notification. For Levels 1 to 2, three years of experience is required, for Levels 2 to 4, 3 to 8 years of experience is required. Similarly, there is provision for promotion up to 17th level if the employees have experience from 1 year to 12 years.
DA comes
Govt for its more than one crore employees and pensioners Dearness Allowance (DA) is to be given. It is estimated that DA may be increased from 3 percent to 45 percent for the second half of the year. The hike in DA will be effective from July 1, 2023. At present, more than one crore central government employees and pensioners are getting 42 percent dearness allowance. DA was last amended on 24 March 2023 and came into effect from 1 January 2023.
It’s great but injustice, as per DA percentage last time now it should be more than that but it’s less than earlier ie Jan 2023..means Jan to June Hiked by 4percent but from July it must be ,6 percent..
