A case of honor killing has come to light in Gurugram, a cyber city adjacent to Delhi. Here a 22-year-old girl named Anjali was allegedly killed by her own family members as she had a love marriage with a boy named Sandeep from her village in December 2022. The incident took place on Thursday in Sector-102, F Tower, Flat No. 201 of Ruff Alliance Society.

While Sandeep was out on personal errands, Anjali’s parents and brothers came and killed Anjali and took her body to Jhajjar. Not only this, Anjali’s last rites were also performed peacefully in Jhajjar itself.
Let it be known that the deceased’s husband Sandeep works as a bouncer in a bar in Gurugram itself. Now, on the basis of Sandeep’s complaint, Dhankot police have registered a case and arrested the deceased’s parents and brother. The police have started investigating the matter from every angle.
