Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2: There is good news for the fans of Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana. The Mumbai High Court has clearly refused to ban the release of Ayushmann’s film ‘Dream Girl 2’. In fact, Ayushmann’s film ‘Dream Girl 2’ is going to hit the theaters tomorrow i.e. 25th August. In such a situation, the release of the film should not be stopped just a few hours before it. A single bench of Justice Riaz Chhagla heard the petition filed by Ashim Bagchi on August 22. The petition claimed that the story of the film is similar to the script that he had registered with the Film Screen Writers Association in May 2007. Bagchi has sought a stay on the film’s release pending his petition.
The petition was filed on August 18
Justice Chhagla said that a petition was filed to stay the release of the film ‘Dream Girl 2’ on August 18. In such a situation, the respondent has not had an opportunity to respond to it. The High Court in its order said, ‘It is well established that the release of films should not be stopped at the last moment. The respondent must be given an opportunity to file a reply to the interim application.
The bench directed and listed the respondents (Balaji Telefilms Ltd., company directors Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, the film’s writers, Raj Shandilya and Naresh Kathuria of Think Ink Pictures Ltd.) to file their affidavits in response to the petition. Case for hearing on March 31. August date fixed.

Let us tell you that this time Ananya Pandey is in the lead role in Ayushmann Khurrana’s film ‘Dream Girl 2’. Nusrat Bharucha was in the lead role instead of Ananya in its first part. The film also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Annu Kapoor and Asrani. Dream Girl 2 is releasing in theaters this Friday i.e. August 25.
