Hindi Diwas Speech (Hindi Diwas Speech 2023)
Respected Chief Guest, Teachers and my dear colleagues…
Today is Hindi Day. today Hindi Day is Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14 September every year in the country. Hindi was declared the official language on 14 September 1949, two years after independence. After this, at the behest of the Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, to promote Hindi, from 1953, 14 September was celebrated as Hindi Day every year across India. Hindi Day was first celebrated in the country on 14 September 1953.

Hindi Day has a very special significance for every Indian citizen. India is a country full of diversity. People of different religions and castes live here. People speak different languages, dialects, have different clothes, food and culture. It is the Hindi language that unites all the people of the country. Hindi has a great contribution in keeping the country united. Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi called Hindi the language of the people. Hindi has given us worldwide recognition.

Nowadays, people are busy introducing English language in every part of their life, but it is also true that Hindi language has its own special importance. Just as no one can take the place of your mother, similarly no one can take the place of our mother tongue Hindi.

Friends, even after 75 years of independence, the desire of freedom fighters to make Hindi the national language remains unfulfilled. Hindi language has become the official language of the country. Today people who speak and understand Hindi live in every state of the country. Even in non-Hindi speaking states, people know working Hindi. Though Hindi is not officially the national language of the country, it is only the official language, but in practice it is the universal language of this country. In such a situation there is a need to unite today to give Hindi its due. Friends, Hindi is not only a language that binds the country but also an expression of emotions. Let’s all use it colloquially as much as possible.

Finally I would like to conclude my speech with few lines-
We are Hindi
India is our country – ours.
Our India is better than anywhere else.
Jai Hind Jai India.
thanks..
