Victoria: A Hindu temple was again vandalized in Canada’s British Columbia province. This is the second incident that has come to light in a month. This temple belongs to Mata Bhameshwari Durga Devi, located in Surrey. Anti-India messages were written on the temple with black spray. “Punjab is not India” was written on the walls of the temple. Many of his pictures are also going viral on social media.
This information was given by Sameer Kaushal, News Director of Radio AM600 on social media platform X. He said, โThe Hindu temple Shree Mata Bhameswari Durga Devi Society has been vandalized. Some anti-India messages have been written on the walls with black spray paint. Such cowardly attacks are increasing to spread panic in the community. @SurrayRCMP have been notified.โ

According to Kaushal, the police have been alerted about the incident and an investigation has been started. The Surrey incident comes less than a month after another major temple was vandalized by Khalistanis in British Columbia province. On 12 August, two unidentified men defaced a temple in Surrey with “anti-Hindu and anti-Indian messages”.
