After the 2019 World Cup, the England team is at the top in terms of catches in ODIs. The team has taken nearly 83 percent of the catches during this period. The English team is also the defending champion of the ODI World Cup. Pakistan has caught 82, New Zealand 81, Sri Lanka 79, Australia 79, West Indies 78, Bangladesh 76 and South Africa 76 percent. Sometimes one catch turns the match. In the 1999 World Cup, Herschel Gibbs of South Africa dropped Steve Waugh’s catch. In this match, Waugh scored a century and gave Australia a memorable victory.
