Harmanpreet does not regret the mistake made in Dhaka
Kaur lost her cool in the third ODI
New Delhi. Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur on Sunday said she has no regrets about losing her temper during the third ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka last month. Due to this Harmanpreet was banned for two matches. He hit the stumps after the umpire gave him out in Dhaka. Later, even after the match, he described the umpiring as bad during the bilateral series. The ban will keep Harmanpreet from playing India’s first two T20 Internationals of the Asian Games in Hangzhou in September-October.
“I wouldn’t say I regret anything because as a player you want to see the right things happening,” Harmanpreet told The Cricket Paper during the Women’s Hundred. As a player, you always have the right to express yourself and say what you feel.” Harmanpreet is playing for ‘Trent Rockets’ in the tournament.

He said, “I don’t think I have said wrong to any player or any person. I only told about what happened on the field. I don’t regret anything.” Besides the ban, three ‘demerit’ points were added to Harmanpreet’s account as she disagreed with the umpire’s decision. One demerit point was also attached to public criticism of the match officials.
