Consumer product maker ITC in Madhya Pradesh has raised Rs. 1,500 crore is going to be invested. The objective of this investment is to promote agriculture and manufacturing sector in Madhya Pradesh. Explain that the company is going to build an integrated food manufacturing and logistics facility and a packaging product manufacturing facility in Sihore, Madhya Pradesh. Both these projects will be spread over an area of about 57 acres, which will boost the agriculture and manufacturing sector in the state.

Announcing the projects, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “Bhoomipujan of two factories in Badiakhedi has been done today. An investment of approximately 1500 crore rupees is going to be made here which will provide employment to 5 thousand of our people. Please note that Badiakhedi is located in Sihore district.
What will the company do?
ITC’s food plant will manufacture products for the Ata brand Asrewad, Sunfeast Biscuits and Yuppy Noodles. On the other hand, the company will contribute to pioneering sustainable packaging and plastic substitution in sectors such as packaging for electronic items, FMCG and food webrage from molded fiber product facilities. ITC Chairman Sanjeev Puri said that in recent times the company has contributed in agriculture, manufacturing and services.
