Mumbai: Desi girl Priyanka Chopra’s brother-in-law and sister-in-law Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have been in the headlines for the past few days. The couple have been in the news about their breakup, which Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has now broken her silence on. Sharing a post on social media, Sophie has announced that she is separating from husband Joe Jonas after four years of marriage. Sophie and Joe got married in 2019. Both have two daughters Vela (3 years) and another daughter from this marriage. Although the actress has not revealed the reason behind the divorce, she has definitely issued a statement in which she has confirmed the news of the divorce.
The petition, filed by Jonas Brothers singer Joe Jonas, states that “the marriage between the parties has irretrievably broken down.” Joe has also sought joint custody of the children. “Joe and Sophie even signed a prenup before the wedding — which Joe mentioned in his divorce papers,” a source told TMZ.
The international publication also said that Joe wants the court to help create a parenting plan for Joe and Sophie, so that both can take care of their daughters. Joe believes this will “help both parties stay in constant and consistent contact.” Joe has also said that he will be with his daughters, even taking them on tour. According to the publication, the reason for their divorce is their lifestyle. The couple believes that their lifestyles are very different from each other.

While talking to the publicist, the source added, ‘While Sophie likes to party, Joe likes to spend time at home. Both have very different lifestyles. The couple shared a joint statement on the divorce, which read – ‘After four beautiful years of marriage, we have decided that we are ending our marriage amicably. There are many speculations as to why this is happening. But, the truth is that this is a decision made between us. We hope everyone will respect our privacy and that of our children.
