Jailer Box Office Collection Day 11: Superstar Rajinikanth is truly the king of the box office. At the age of 72, he made a grand comeback with Nelson Dilipkumar’s ‘Jailor’, which is taking theaters by storm. According to trade reports, the film has grossed Rs 500 crore at the worldwide box office and is still going strong. The real test for ‘Jailor’ begins today, August 21st, as the collections may see a dip after 11 days in theatres. Talking about the 11th day collection, the film has done a business of around 18 crores across all languages.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed on Twitter that ‘Jailor’ has indeed earned globally Rs. 500 crore mark has been crossed. This is Rajinikanth’s second film after ‘2.0’, which collected Rs. 500 crore mark has been crossed. Jailer has completed 11 days in theaters and it remains to be seen how the next week holds for the film.
According to Forbes, ‘Jailor’ has grossed $58 million (Rs 482 crore) globally in 10 days. Written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, ‘Jailor’ is an action entertainer film starring Rajinikanth as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The film also stars Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan and Vasantha Ravi in lead roles. While Mohanlal, Shiv Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff have been seen in cameo roles in the film.
