Tokyo: After the crash of Russia’s moon mission Luna-25, all eyes were on India’s Chandrayaan-3. After the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3, India is getting buzzed all over the world. At the same time, Japan was also trying to conquer the moon. But it looks like Japan will have to wait longer. Because Japan has suspended the launch of its Moon Mission (Japan HIIA Rocket Moon Mission) for the third time.

Japan’s space agency on Monday suspended the planned launch of the H-IIA rocket, which was supposed to carry the lunar lander into space, according to news agency Reuters. The launch service unit of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) said in a post on social media site X (formerly known as Twitter) 24 minutes before the scheduled launch time that the launch was canceled due to unfavorable wind conditions in the upper atmosphere. .

Let us inform you that the H-IIA No. 47 rocket was scheduled to be launched from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA) Tanegashima Space Center in southern Japan at 9:26 am local time (0026 GMT) on Monday. The Smart Lander, or SLIM, was developed by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to probe the Moon.

According to the report, its tasks include the detection of lunar rocks and the demonstration of precise landing procedures. If Japan’s moon mission is launched in the future and lands on the moon’s surface, Japan will become the fifth country in the world to successfully land on the moon. The rocket is carrying JAXA’s Smart Lander for Investigating the Moon (SLIM), which will be the first Japanese spacecraft to land on the Moon.

It is known that Tokyo-based startup iSpace’s (9348.T) lunar lander Hakuto-R mission failed on April 1. And on August 23, India took a giant leap when the Chandrayaan-3 lander module successfully landed on the South Pole of the Moon. Due to which it became the first country to achieve this historic feat. India has become the fourth country after America, China and Russia to successfully land on the surface of the Moon.
