JEECUP UP Polytechnic Admission: Counseling schedule has been released in polytechnic institutes of UP. Counseling will be done online in five phases. The three-phase counseling started from Wednesday to September 3, the fourth phase from September 5 and the fifth phase from September 8. Classes for students who participated in counseling till September 3 will start from September 5. Passed candidates will be able to select institute and course options on the council website jeecup.admissions.nic.in with their login ID. Candidates participating in the counseling will have to fill step wise choices. In the next phase, the allotment will be based on the seat preference filled by the candidate in the previous phase. No changes will be made to filled seats. In the first three phases, the verification of educational certificates will be conducted at support centers established in state and aided polytechnic institutions.
Candidates from other states can participate in the fourth phase of counselling. After seat allotment it will be necessary to select float and freeze option. Candidates opting for the float option have to deposit a security amount of Rs 3250 and counseling fee. After verification of certificates, the institute admission fee has to be deposited online. The Joint Admission Council declared the result of the entrance exam on August 17. In which 262171 candidates have passed.
