New Delhi. The summit of G20 countries is going to be held in India next month i.e. in September. This time India is organizing the summit of G-20 countries. Heads of many countries of the world will participate in this convention. In such a situation, an official statement has been issued by America that the President of America Dr Joe Biden (US President Joe Biden) g20 will attend the summit.
President Biden is visiting India from September 7 to 10. G-20 The summit President Biden will discuss a number of joint efforts to address global issues, including the clean energy transition and tackling climate change and mitigating the economic and social impacts of the Ukraine conflict. This information has been given by issuing a press release from the White House on Tuesday.
According to media reports, the statement also said that President Biden and the G20 partners will also discuss several joint efforts to deal with global issues apart from the challenges of clean energy transition and climate change. Also, we will emphasize reforming the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank so that developing countries can get more help. American NSA Jack Sullivan said that these two organizations need to provide better alternatives to developing countries instead of financial aid provided under China’s Belt and Road Initiative. Jack Sullivan told reporters that we are clearly hearing their voices to address the challenges faced by these countries.
Appreciating India’s chairmanship, the release said that in New Delhi, President Biden will also commend Prime Minister Modi’s leadership of the G20 and reaffirm the US commitment to the G20 as a leading forum for economic cooperation, including hosting it in 2026.
Let us tell that the G20 world leaders summit is going to be held in New Delhi on September 9 and 10. The summit is expected to be one of the largest gatherings of world leaders in India. India took over the G20 chairmanship from Indonesia on December 1, 2022.
On the other hand, in view of the summit, it has also been decided to keep all schools and offices of Delhi government and municipal corporation closed on September 8, 9 and 10 in the national capital.
Meanwhile, US Vice President Kamala Harris will attend the US-ASEAN Summit and the East Asia Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia. The White House release also said that their partnership will focus on shared prosperity, security, climate crisis, maritime security, sustainable economic development and enforcement of international rules in the field.

Let us tell that the group of G20 countries includes Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America and including the European Union. These member countries account for about 85 percent of global GDP and more than 75 percent of global trade. Also, these countries have nearly two-thirds of the world’s population.
