Director Karan Johar is very happy right now. Because the 2021 film Sher Shah, made under his banner, won the Special Jury Award at the 69th National Film Awards. The announcement was made today at a press conference in New Delhi. Celebrating this big achievement, Karan Johar has shared a poster of the film. In which the lead actor of the film Siddharth Malhotra is seen. Along with this he also gave a beautiful message. It read, “What an honor! Big thanks to @mib_india and @official.anuragthakur for this.” Who deemed our film #SherShah worthy of a National Award.”

In the film, Kiara Advani was cast as Vikram Batra’s love interest. It was directed by Vishnuvardhan. Siddharth Malhotra has not yet responded to Karan’s post.

Allu Arjun was awarded the Best Actor award for the blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Rocketry: The Namby Effect was awarded Best Film. Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham bagged the Best Hindi Film award while RRR won several awards including Best Popular Film.
