LPG Price: For the past few days, the central government has been in action mode to provide relief on rising inflation. The government has reduced the prices of various types of LPG cylinders by more than Rs 350 in just one week. Let’s find out how LPG cylinder prices have changed during this week.
Cut a domestic cylinder
On August 29, the central government has reduced the domestic LPG cylinder price by Rs 200. After this cut, domestic LPG cylinders of 14.2 kg are being sold for Rs 903 in the country’s capital, Delhi. Earlier, the price of such a cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1103.

Cut into commercial cylinders
On September 1, the price of a commercial cylinder (19 kg) was also reduced by Rs 157. After the new cut, it has started selling at 1522.50 rupees instead of 1680 rupees in the country’s capital Delhi.

Relief to people from Ujjwala Yojana
Consumers covered under the Ujjwala scheme will also get the benefit of Rs 200 reduction in domestic LPG cylinder price. Explain that such beneficiaries are already getting a subsidy of Rs.200. Thus, after the new deduction, Ujjwala beneficiaries will get a total benefit of Rs 400. In such a situation, now the beneficiaries will get an LPG cylinder for Rs 703. Along with this, it has also been decided to provide 75 lakh new LPG connections free of charge. With this, the number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will increase to 10.35 crore.
