LPG Latest Price: In a relief to those suffering from inflation, the central government has reduced the price of domestic cooking gas (LPG) cylinders by Rs 200. After this new decision of the government, there has been a major change in the price of LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) from today i.e. from 30th August. Let’s know what is the new domestic LPG cylinder price in which part of the country.
Domestic LPG cylinders of 14.2 kg are now being sold for Rs 903 in the country’s capital, Delhi. Till Tuesday, the price of such a cylinder was Rs 1103. It means that now the customers are getting the cylinder at a cheaper price of Rs 200 than before. Let us know that the last change in domestic LPG cylinder price was on March 1, 2023. After this, domestic LPG cylinder prices remained stable for 5 consecutive months.
What are the rates in other cities?
The price of a domestic LPG cylinder in Kolkata was Rs 1129 till last Tuesday, which has now come down to Rs 929 after a drop of Rs 200. The price of this cylinder in Mumbai was Rs 1102.50, which has come down to Rs 902.50 after the new cut. Similarly, the new domestic LPG cylinder price in Chennai has come down from Rs 1118.50 to Rs 918.50.

Price of commercial cylinder
Domestic cylinder prices have remained unchanged for 5 months, but commercial cylinder prices continue to fluctuate. As per the August 1 update, the price of a commercial cylinder in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai respectively is Rs. 1680, Rs. 1802.50, Rs. 1640.50 and Rs. is 1852.50. Now after the new relief, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana will get an LPG cylinder for Rs 703. Apart from this, it has also been decided to provide free 75 lakh new LPG connections under the Ujjwala scheme. With this, the number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will increase to 10.35 crore. Explain that Ujjwala beneficiaries are currently 9.6 crore, while 33 crore consumers use LPG for cooking.
