As the bees began to disperse, police warned pedestrians to stay away from the area, urging residents and passing motorists to keep their windows down.

The police also put up a notice on social media about the incident, following which several beekeepers contacted the police and offered their help. As soon as the incident was reported, six-seven beekeepers reached the spot. Beekeeper Michael Barber told the BBC: “There were so many flying bees that even the beekeepers in full suit panicked.” “Some beekeepers have also been stung,” he said. According to reports, within 3 hours, most of the nearly five million bees were safely captured. However, the operation to catch them is still going on.
