Mutual Funds: Fast growing Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund has launched Business Cycle Fund. The New Fund Offer (NFO), which opened on August 21, will close on September 4. After September 13, it will always be open again for investment. It is an open-ended equity scheme with a focus on business cycle based investment themes.

This scheme is for investors who want to earn capital appreciation for long term by investing in equity and related securities. It aims to focus on companies and sectors participating in the business cycle through active portfolio allocation.

What the company said
We provide investors with an opportunity to add a strategic play to their core fund portfolio for the long term,” said Anthony Heredia, MD and CEO of the company. The fund complements our existing product portfolio and is suitable for both lumpsum and SIP investments.
Mahindra Manulife Business Cycle Fund will be managed by Krishna Sanghvi and Renjith Sivaram Radhakrishnan, Chief Investment Officers of Equity with over 28 years of experience. The fund’s strategic objective is to integrate economic cycles and market cycles, creating a portfolio based on sector choices based on business cycle phases to generate capital gains over the long term, Krishna Sanghvi said.
