Asia Cup 2023 will be the first destination
Now the first camp of World Cup 2023 preparations is going to be Asia Cup for the Indian team. In this 50 over tournament, the fitness and form of all injured players will be tested before the World Cup. Along with this, captain Rohit Sharma will also get a chance to choose his best playing eleven. Asia Cup 2023 is going to start from August 30. India will play its first match against arch-rivals Pakistan on September 2.

Two warm-up matches will be held before the World Cup
After playing the last ODI against Australia on September 27, India will play two warm-up matches against England and the Netherlands before the 2023 World Cup. But it is expected that the board will announce the squad after the match against Pakistan on September 2. The last date for announcing the squad for the World Cup 2023 is set for September 5.
