Pandeji aka Manish Pandey of Indian cricket did something similar in the title match of the Maharaj T20 League being played in Karnataka. Captain Manish Pandey made the team champion by jumping the boundary. The ball was saved from crossing the boundary line. Anyone who saw this Superman avatar of him was stunned. Manish’s effort made his team Hubli Tigers the champions of the Maharaja T20 League.

Manish Pandey-led Hubli Tigers clashed with Mysore Warriors in the final of the Maharaja T20 Trophy. In the match, Hubli Tigers batted first and made a big score of 203 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Manish Pandey played an important role in leading the team to this score. He scored an unbeaten 50 off just 23 balls. Apart from that, Mohammad Taha played an innings of 72 runs. In reply, Mysore Warriors went all out to win.

Chasing a target of 204 runs, Mysore Tigers finally needed 11 runs off 4 balls. This over from Hubli was bowled by L Manwant Kumar. Jagdish Suchit fired in the air on his third ball. The shot had enough power. The ball went straight to the long off boundary. It looked like the ball would go straight across the boundary and the match would be in Mysore’s grasp with this shot. But, Hubli captain Manish jumped in the air and threw the ball in before it fell on the boundary himself.
