Will only the word ‘India’ be used for the country? Is the Modi government planning to remove the word INDIA from the Constitution in the special session of Parliament starting September 18? In an interview given to news agency ANI, S. Jaishankar said that the meaning of the word ‘India’ is also reflected in the Constitution. India, which is India, is written in the Constitution. Please, I would invite everyone to read it. The Union Minister was asked about the reaction of the opposition parties and whether the government is going to change the country as India with the G20 summit. S. “See when you say India, there is a meaning and an understanding that comes with it and that is also reflected in our constitution,” Jaishankar said.
Opposition parties have alleged that the government is only resorting to “drama” as they have united and called their alliance India. However, BJP leaders have strongly supported this move by the government. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan posted a picture of the President’s dinner invitation on ‘X’ and wrote a few verses of the National Anthem. He said, “It should have happened earlier. It gives a lot of satisfaction to the mind. ‘India’ is our identity. We are proud of it. The President has given priority to ‘India’. It has to come out. Colonial mentality. Most Big statement.”
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh made several posts on this issue. He wrote, “So this news is indeed true. Rashtrapati Bhavan has sent an invitation to the G20 dinner on 9th September in the name of ‘President of India’ instead of the usual ‘President of India’. Now, Article 1 of the Constitution. Read: “India, which was India, It will be a federation of states.” But now even this “federation of states” is under attack.
Jaishankar also spoke about the government’s efforts to organize G20 events in different parts of the country and said that today’s India needs to develop a keen global awareness.
