The Asia Cup has been played twice in the T20 format, while the rest of the times it has been played only in the ODI format. Sanath Jayasuriya is the most powerful all-rounder in Asia Cup history, covering both ODI and T20 formats. Jayasuriya has scored a total of 1220 runs and taken 22 wickets. Jayasuriya has played a total of 25 Asia Cup matches between 1990 and 2008 and achieved this feat. The second best all-rounder in Asia Cup history is Sachin Tendulkar, who has scored 971 runs and taken 17 wickets in 23 Asia Cup matches between 1990 and 2012.

Jayasuriya and Sachin have only played Asia Cup matches in the ODI format, while both Shahid Afridi and Shakib Al Hasan have played in the Asia Cup format. Shahid Afridi has scored 534 runs and taken 17 wickets in 27 Asia Cup matches between 1997 and 2016. On the other hand, if we talk about Shakib Al Hasan, he has scored 514 runs in 20 matches of Asia Cup between 2010 to 2022 and has taken a total of 25 wickets.
