JGU Scholarship 2024: OP Jindal Global University has announced scholarships for more than 2000 students in the upcoming academic session 2024-25. JGU is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2024, according to information released by the university. On this special occasion, it has been decided to provide scholarships to needy eligible students. The university has said that more than 60 percent of the students enrolled for the session 2024 will get the scholarship.
The scholarship will be awarded by the University on merit-cum-means basis. A transparent process will be adopted for this. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of annual family income, marks obtained in last examination, result of JSAT (Jindal Scholarship Aptitude Test) or any other standardized test and faculty interview (if required) score in scholarship application eligibility.
Prof. Dr. C. Rajkumar, Founder Vice-Chancellor, Jindal Global University said, “We are delighted to announce this game-changing initiative for incoming students in 2024. More than 2000 students will be given scholarships under this programme. JGU believes. That education should be a beacon of opportunity for all. Opportunity should not come in the way of one’s family background or economic status. Our founding Chancellor and philanthropist Naveen Jindal always understood the importance of making education accessible to the needy. That too, irrespective of their economic circumstances.”
