A bad news has come out from Synejagat. Veteran actress Seema Dev, who gave a brilliant performance in the film ‘Kora Kagaz’, has passed away. At the same time, she played Amitabh Bachchan’s sister-in-law in the film Anand. Seema breathed her last at the age of 81 on Thursday morning. The sad news has been confirmed by Seema’s son and filmmaker Abhinay Dev.

Seema Dev passed away at her Bandra residence in Mumbai. She was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease for the last three years. Seema Dev acted in more than 80 Hindi and Marathi films in her film career. Abhinay Dev told PTI-Bhasa, ‘He passed away today between 8.30 am and 9 am at his residence in Bandra due to age-related complications. She had been suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease for over three years.
The last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park
Abhinay said, ‘There is no definite cause of his death. Alzheimer’s and dementia cause a person to forget to walk. Muscle movement gradually ceases and one by one the organs cease to function.’ The last rites of the actress will be performed at Shivaji Park at 5 pm. Please inform that her husband and veteran actor of Marathi and Hindi cinema Ramesh Dev passed away in 2022 at the age of 93.
